The way we relate to our body (our constant companion) gets
woven through our whole life. It shows up in our thoughts/feelings about
ourselves, in how we move through the world, how we interact (or react) to life
and how we relate to others.
Even when we're grounded in our uniqueness - our Square-Pegness - and happy with who we are, we are still affected by the constant media drone that says: "you aren't quite right - you need a little fixing". On these pages we offer praise (and ideas on baby stepping toward that praise) for who we are - now - in our bodies - not at some point in the distant future when we're fixed. Let's talk about what's right with our bodies - let's build positive, loving relationships with our constant companion! |
